ESSENCE is pleased to provide many of its members access to the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, the nation’s leading fitness program designed exclusively for older adults.

The SilverSneakers® Fitness Program includes:

• A complimentary membership at a participating location near you where you can use amenities included with a “basic” membership - for example, steam/sauna rooms and exercise equipment.
• SilverSneakers® classes, appropriate for members of all fitness levels.
• Opportunities to make new friends and participate in fun activities such as fitness promotions, trips to local sporting events and health education seminars.
• Personalized, friendly service from an appointed fitness staff member, the Senior Advisor.

There are no additional charges if you stay within the limits of a “basic” membership. If you request any services that are not included in the “basic” membership, an additional charge will be added and ESSENCE will not pay for these services.

Follow these three simple steps to enroll:

1. Bring your ESSENCE membership ID card and a photo ID to a participating location near you.
2. Ask to speak with the Senior Advisor, who will walk you through the enrollment process with you.
3. Once you have completed enrollment, the staff will place a SilverSneakers® sticker on your ESSENCE membership ID card.
