Mail Order Pharmacy Service
Essence offers a mail order pharmacy service through Walgreen's and Wal-Mart to fill prescriptions for "maintenance drugs". These are drugs that you might take on a regular basis, for a chronic or long-term medical condition. These are the only drugs available through our mail order service. You are not required to use our mail order services to get an extended supply of maintenance medications. The regular retail co-pays apply per 31 days supply.
To begin having your prescriptions filled via this option, you can print and complete a Walgreen's Rx Mail Order Form, or for Wal-Mart call 1-800-273-3455 and request a Mail Order Patient Profile Form.
Generally, it takes 14 days to process your order and ship it to you. If your mail order is delayed for any reason, contact Customer Service so that arrangements can be made for you to obtain your medication.
