Essex Dental
Your dental benefits are administered by Essex Dental. In addition to your Essence Membership ID Card, you will also be receiving the Essex Dental Benefits ID Card shown below. Please present this ID card to the dentist at the start of every visit. You must use plan providers to have your preventive dental services covered. If you need more information about your dental benefits, you can visit Essex's website at www.essexdentalbenefits.com or call Essex Customer Service at (314) 543-4900 or (800) 501-3471.
You should receive a Dental Directory, along with your Evidence of Coverage, in the mail. You can also view a customized list of dentists near you by entering your zipcode and the maximum number of miles you are willing to travel on Essex Dental's website.
Note: The dental plan goes into effect at the same time as the medical plan.
